Each aircraft requires specific documents to be operated. Most of them are mandatory (Certificate of Registration, Certificate of Airworthiness, Air Operator Certificate), some are supplementary (Certificate of Maintenance Review, Certificate of Fitness of Flight).
If the aircraft document is expired, Leon will display a warning while adding the flight on the aircraft the document is issued for.
There are two filtering options available in this section:
AIRCRAFT allows setting up an overview by different characteristics applicable to an aircraft:
You can also change the order by dragging & dropping the tail in the pop-up window.
It is possible to create the filter presets, which are filtering templates, in the 'AIRCRAFT' filter in the OPS views.
The filter presets allow quick and easy changes to the set of filtering options depending on the requirements.
In order to create a preset, the following actions need to be performed:
Once the preset is saved, it is available in the Select preset dropdown in the 'Aircraft' filter.
It is possible to delete the preset by clicking on the bin icon available upon hovering the mouse over the preset.
'FILTER' contains one option.
'Include GND Aircraft' option allows including GND-type aircraft on the list and modify the documents applicable to this type of an aircraft.
Before you add any aircraft document in Leon, you need to customise the list of all fleet documents you want to use.
Go to Settings > Fleet Documents Setup and under the icon Documents definitions you will be able to add document name and document type.
By clicking on the icon + icon, you can add a new document. The window also allows you to change positions of documents, depending on their importance, by drag & dropping the document.
It is possible to change the order of the documents by dragging and dropping the documents on the list.
Next step is activating a new document for a particular aircraft, which can be done by clicking on the aircraft registration in the main view.
When a pop-up window shows up, tick particular documents in column Use and Req (if it's mandatory for the flight).
It is possible to copy documents from a particular tail to the other tail.
It is a simple feature which allows you to define one or more recipients who should be notified when aircraft document is going to be expired.
In a field Intervals you can add a number of days before a document's expiry date, when emails should arrive (as many as necessary - after a comma).
Additionally, it is possible to indicate the From email.
Emails available in the dropdown are either active e-mails configured in the 'Mailboxes' or 'do-not-reply@leonsoftware.com'.
