SAFE - FRMSc

A new way of integrating with FRMSc-SAFE will be introduced in the 'Add-ons' section.

FRMSc-SAFE is a computer program that includes a suite of algorithms that allow a range of factors influencing alertness in aircrews to be evaluated.

FRMSc-SAFE is very easy to use and will quickly identify schedules and individual pilot duties with high fatigue scores.

How to integrate

FRMSc configuration panel

To integrate with FRMSc-SAFE, you need to get a license to access the SAFE model.

In FRMSc-SAFE, go to the ‘Settings’ section > API where the following integration data is available:

  • API Key
  • Client ID
  • Client Secret - this needs to be generated in FRMSc > API section

In the 'Add-ons' > FRMSc-SAFE configuration section switch the status to ‘ON’, insert all the required integration data and save the settings to complete the integration.

Once the integration is completed successfully, Leon will start sending the data to SAFE.

How it works

Unlike the old way of integration, where the data had to be sent manually by pressing the 'Export to SAFE' button in the 'Safe Roster Export' report, this new integration method will allow sending Pilots' data automatically from Leon to SAFE.

The data is sent once a day, at night.

Once the data is uploaded to SAFE it undergoes an immediate fatigue and alertness evaluation. You can also generate the CSV file. Generated files can be used in SAFE

The old integration method will change its name in the 'Add-ons' section to 'FRMSc Safe (Legacy).
Clients who have been integrated with FRMSc-SAFE using the old method, will still be able to use it by sending the report manually.
Clients using the new 'FRMSc SAFE' integration method will still have access to the 'SAFE roster export' report, but there will be no 'EXPORT TO SAFE' button available since the export will happen automatically.
