A new interface to insert the opening hours will be available in the Airport Directory > Airport 'Details' tab for the following:

• Airport Hours
• Control Tower Hours
• Customs Hours

The new interface will enable the creation of the rules for Opening hours by clicking on the 'Show Details' option of one of the mentioned above. This will open the 'Airport Hours' pop-up window.

The Airport Hours pop-up window contains the following settings:

New 'Airport Opening Hours' interface

• Timezone - selecting whether the inserted timeframes apply in UTC or LT
• State - indicating whether the airport is 'Open' or 'Closed'
• Apply to - indication whether the rule applies to the 'Departure', 'Arrival, or 'Both'
• Timeframes - possibility to indicate whether the airport is open 24 hours a day ('24H' checkbox ticked) or whether the airport is open during the specific hours ('24h' checkbox unticked - the 'From' and 'To' fields become active):
  • From and To opening hours can be indicated by the following:
    • - opening hours based on specific times, ie hh:mm
    • - opening hours based on the sunrise. Once this option is selected it will be possible to indicate by selecting how many minutes, in 'mm' format, before or after the airport is opening/closing
    • - opening hours based on the sunset. Works in a similar way to the 'sunrise-based' option
• Recurrence rule - allows indicating the validity dates and the repetitiveness of the rule:
  • Start - indicating the start date of the rule. Can be left empty if the start date is not applicable. Past dates cannot be inserted
  • Repeat - setting up the repetitiveness of the rule based on the hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly frequency. Once one of the frequencies is selected, additional detailed settings will become available
  • End - indicating the end date of the rule. Contains the following:
    • Never - indicating that the rule never expires
    • On date - indicating the specific date of the rule expiry
    • After - indicating the number of executions at a specific airport after which the rule expires
• Clicking on + allows adding the next rule
• Irregular opening hours - an indication of the irregular opening hours of the airport. Will be displayed in the OPS section, together with inserted notes, as a caution upon hovering the mouse over the airport code

In this example, the opening hours are based on the rules inserted in the 'New 'Airport Opening Hours' interface' screenshot:

• LFPB Airport
• Arrival rule - the airport is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Departure rule - the is open between 06:00LT and 22:00LT, 7 days a week

In the schedule presented in the screenshot on the right-hand side, the aircraft arrives at LFPB at 11:00UTC (13:00LT) and departs from LFPB at 23:00UTC (01:00LT on the following day).

Since the departure falls outside of the opening hours, Leon generates the warning in the OPS section.
