SIFL Report

Leon will share with all operators a new report: The Standard Industry Fare Level (SIFL), which can be used is used to calculate the taxable benefit of personal use of company aircraft by an employee.

The report will be available on the main Report Wizard page, in a section 'Reports shared by Leon'.

Required parameters

Report SIFL - setting up calculation

1. When adding PAX to the flight, mark whether SIFL should be calculated by marking a checkbox 'Calculate SIFL' in PAX details (in a tab PAX of the OPS panel).

2. Make sure that the Host is selected in the same window as point 1 (see screenshot on the right).

3. In the PAX profile, tab 'Details', define to all host-workers (those who host PAX, not necessarily flying with PAX) the SIFL employee status: control or non-control.

The formula used in this report is as below:

SIFL = [(Mile $ x (Aircraft Multiplier) = Terminal Charge] x PAX number

Rates

SIFL rates as from 01-07-2023 are:

0-500 miles > 0.2898 $

501-1500 miles > 0.2210 $

over 1500 miles > 0.2124 $

Terminal charge as from 01-07-2023 are 52.98 $

In case SIFL rates or Terminal charges change, update needs to be done manually, in the 'Edit HTML Template' section of the report.
