It is possible to select the Block Time recalculation method after the Flight Time update in the OPS section.
The recalculation method can be set in the Admin Panel > 'Flight Editing' > 'Block time update after flight time change' setting.
The following methods are available in the 'Block time update after flight time change' setting:
Below are some examples of Block time recalculations
In this method, Block time is not automatically recalculated after the Flight Time update. This might lead to a situation, where the Block time is shorter than the Flight time.
In the below example, Flight time is updated from 00:45 to 01:10 and the Block time remains unchanged.
In this method, Block time is automatically recalculated based on the new Flight time and the taxi times from the values before the update
In the below example, Flight time is updated from 00:45 to 00:55 and the Block time is recalculated based on the same 15 minutes of taxi time from 01:00 to 01:10
In this method, Block time is automatically recalculated based on the new Flight time and the taxi times from the values before the update and rounded to the next round value of 5 minutes.
In the below example, Flight time is updated from 00:45 to 00:58 and the Block time is recalculated based on the same 15 minutes of taxi time (00:58 + 00:15 = 01:13), rounded to the next 5 minutes value updates the Flight time from 01:00 to 01:15.
In this method, Block time is recalculated similarly to the 'Update block (round to 5 minutes)' method but the value is rounded to the next 10 minutes.
In the below example, Flight time is updated from 00:45 to 00:53 and the Block time is recalculated based on the same 15 minutes of taxi time (00:53 + 00:15 = 01:08), rounded to the next 10 minutes value, updating the flight time from 01:00 to 01:10.
