‘End of base month’ certificate revalidation policy

The new method of revalidating certificates will be introduced.

End of base month is a revalidation method that extends the validity of a certificate based on its Initial date. The certificate’s validity is extended to the last day of the corresponding month. When using this method, the Initial Date field must be filled in, and the user must perform revalidation using button or the revalidation button in the ‘Action’ column.

Example

The certificate has a validity period of 12 months. It was originally issued with an Initial date of 15 May 2024, and most recently renewed with a Date of issue of 10 July 2025. According to the End of base month validation method, the next expiry date of the certificate is 31 May 2026.
