(Under Development) Approved Training Organizations

Overview

Leon now includes a built-in database of Approved Training Organizations (ATOs) — entities such as CAE or FlightSafety that operate training facilities used by aviation crews. This lays the foundation for the upcoming training module and allows operators to pre-configure the ATOs they work with.

Data Model

The ATO structure consists of two levels:

• ATO — the training organization itself (e.g., CAE, FlightSafety), identified by name.

• Training Center — a facility belonging to an ATO, defined by a name and an ICAO airport code.

Each ATO can have multiple Training Centers. Each Training Center belongs to exactly one ATO.

Managing ATOs (Cockpit)

Administrators can manage the global ATO database directly from the Leon Cockpit under the Training section → Approved Training Organizations. The interface allows you to:

• View the full list of defined ATOs.

• Add a new ATO.

• Open an ATO to view, add, edit, or delete its Training Centers.

Operator Configuration (Training Settings)

Each operator can select which ATOs are relevant to their operations. This is done in Training Settings (previously called Simulator Settings), where a checkbox list of all available ATOs is presented. The selected ATOs are then associated with that operator.
