The Sales permissions system has been extended with a new access control option — Assignee-Only RFQ Access.
When enabled for a permissions group, members of that group can only see and act on RFQs that are directly assigned to them, with limited editing rights.
What it does
Once Assignee-Only RFQ Access is enabled on a permissions group, every user in that group is affected as follows:
-
Visibility — the user sees only the RFQs where they are set as Assignee. All other RFQs in the organisation are hidden from the regular RFQ list, dashboards, and search.
-
Editing — on the RFQs that are visible to them, the user can view the route but cannot:
-
modify the itinerary,
-
change the Base,
-
change the Assignee,
-
create new RFQs (including creating from a trip and cloning an existing RFQ).
-
Where to find it
The option is set at the permissions group level:
-
Go to Settings → Privileges.
-
Open the permissions group you want to restrict.
-
Locate the Assignee-Only RFQ Access under the Setting tab and enable it.
-
Save the group. The new behaviour applies to every user who belongs to that group.
See the parent Privileges page for the full list of group settings.
