Scope - Crew Flights

Overview

The Crew Flights scope provides flight-level crew assignment data, with each record representing a single crew member on a specific flight. It brings together flight schedule and Journey Log information alongside crew identity, role, and duty details — giving a full picture of who flew, in what capacity, and when.

Operators use this scope to track individual crew flight history, analyse crew utilization across the fleet, verify position assignments, and support compliance reporting. Because each row corresponds to one crew member on one flight, the scope is well suited to per-person flight time summaries, training type breakdowns, and document expiry cross-checks.

What reports can you build with this scope?

Examples of typical reports operators build with this scope:

Individual crew flight log — list all flights operated by a specific crew member over a date range, with times, positions, and block hours
Crew utilization summary — aggregate flight time and block time per crew member to assess workload and availability
Position assignment review — compare planned crew positions with Journey Log data to verify actual roles flown
Training flight report — filter by training type to list simulator or line training events with crew details
Document expiry check — cross-reference passport and travel document expiry dates against upcoming scheduled flights

Flight identification
