Can Leon monitor CTOT (slot times) automatically?
Yes, with the Eurocontrol integration enabled Leon receives CTOT and other flow-management data automatically and displays it in Flight Watch. The integration can be configured selectively — for example CTOT only — if you do not want full movement data taken from Eurocontrol.
Can crew be notified automatically when a CTOT is issued or changed?
Yes, CTOT and ETD changes can trigger notifications, including push notifications to the Crew App, according to your notification configuration. Define which roles receive slot-related alerts so the right people are informed without noise for others.
Does Leon handle airport slot coordination requests (GCR/SCR messages)?
Leon records slot information on the flight and supports slot checklist items, but it is not a slot-coordination messaging tool — formal GCR/SCR exchanges with coordinators are handled outside Leon or via specialized integrations. Store the confirmed slot times and references in the flight's slot item for operational tracking.
Can PPR (Prior Permission Required) be tracked in Leon?
Yes, PPR can be tracked as a checklist item on each flight, with statuses, notes, reference numbers, and attached confirmations. Airports requiring PPR can be flagged in the airport directory notes so OPS is alerted whenever a flight is planned there.
How do overflight and landing permits work in Leon?
Permits are managed as checklist items per flight, and permit requests can be sent from Leon using country-specific email templates with the required flight data and attachments (for example the GenDec). The default template is selected by country mapping — if the wrong template is triggered, ask Support to correct the mapping.
Can permit checklist items reset automatically when the schedule changes?
Yes, permit items can be configured with reset rules so that a relevant change (for example a rerouted flight or date change) reverts the item status and prompts a new request. Define which changes should trigger the reset, since not every schedule edit invalidates a permit.
Why did handling and slot items keep their confirmed status after the trip changed from Option to Confirmed?
Checklist items reset only on the triggers configured for them, and a trip-status change is not a reset trigger by default. If your workflow requires handling or slot items to reset when a trip is confirmed, ask Leon Support to add that trigger to the affected items.
Can GAR (General Aviation Report) submissions be handled from Leon?
Yes, the GAR document can be generated from Leon with the flight, crew, and passenger data, ready to be submitted to the relevant authority. Generation is available from the flight documents, and the template can be adjusted to the current authority format.
